Araya Totoan

Ishikawa, Chubu & Hokuriku

Araya Totoan has a history dating back to 1639, when it was established by order of the head of the Maeda Family to protect the Yamashiro hot spring owned by the family. Our family has been running the inn for eighteen generations. You can enjoy the works of renowned ceramicist and artist Rosanjin Kitaojias as well as Kutani ware pottery and contemporary artwork throughout the interior. We hope that our guests can feel the essence of a traditional Japanese yado, where we strive to create the sensation of tranquility and cleanliness within a comfortable and relaxed environment.
