Ryokan Sugimoto is a Japanese folk-craft-style inn constructed with clay walls and traditional black beams, with each guest room decorated in its own distinctive style. The inn draws on the Tsukama no Yu natural hot springs, which have a history dating back more than one thousand years. The kitchen prepares dishes from local seasonal ingredients of the Shinshu-Matsumoto area, and serves locally produced sake.
